Faith in God. Embrace It. Use It. Show It. Live It.

My encouragement to you this week is to live in the affirmation of your faith. Be a miracle to others, believe totally in the promises of God, walk upright, practice forgiveness, & let your zeal for God be seen in your life! As you touch others, God will touch you with his mercy & blessings!

Are you living in the affirmation of your faith that God can do all the things that YOU have professed that he can do? Are you walking in faith? Or are we still walking by sight? We are to live by believing not by seeing? But for us to walk by faith, we have to LIVE in faith! Living in faith REQUIRES that we live a life that Christ walked himself. Christ is touching lives daily, even your life as you read this post! How many lives have we touched within the last week? Month? Year? If you are having a hard time to even think when was the last time you touched a life, then you aren't living as a servant of Christ. You aren't living by faith! You have to work to be a miracle to others in some way. It doesn't have to be anything over the top. It could be feeding the needy. Just serve another in an example of how God has served you. Another thing we HAVE to do is believe in the promises of God. These promises are already yours if you believe in that. God knows lip service and He doesn't need that. He needs people who will dare to believe when ALL THE WEIGHT is bearing down on you or a situation you're aware of. We may not see it all the time, but we must REALLY believe that God has promises on our lives that already to belong to us!! Hold on to your faith in God's promises until it happens and after it happens! We must walk upright as well for these promises to come into fruition. I guarantee you, the faithfulness of God is not based on merit or we would never have a thing! But we must live a life that exemplifies the presence of the Lord in our lives. It is essential to living in our faith. Christ was just and good in nature. We can be the same. We must live to emulate the life of Christ. Another thing is we must forgive. We must practice forgiveness to others and to ourselves. Forgiving yourself is not about forgetting. It is about not bringing the offense up to yourself in negative ways. Forgiving yourself is simply letting go of what you are holding against yourself so that you can move on with God. If God has moved on, shouldn't we do the same? Philippians 4:9 states that we are to put into practice those things that we have learned from God and from His Word. To continue to rehearse in our thoughts the events of our transgression, opposes Philippians 4:8 which tells us to dwell on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. We must then learn to forgive others. God forgives us so that He can live in harmony with us. We must do the same to another person whom we have yet to forgive. If we forgive we are opening ourselves up to a better spiritual life, better relationships with others, and a peace that we all need. Lastly, let your zeal for the Lord be apparent! Let the world know who you are and who do you serve. When they are able to see the goodness of God manifested through you, you are touching lives! You are reaching the non-believer who is still scared to commit to the Lord. As they see the peace, strength, and joy that God is giving your life, they will too be blessed because your zeal will be blessing them! Trust as you put yourself aside and let God work, He will work on your blessings just as hard! God will never forget nor forsake the faithful! They will be preserved forever...Be Blessed...
